If Start without a template option was selected, then click on New Map.

Then go to Project > Save Project

Save project. The required files will be created in your workstation.

2. Create Cellular Expert Workspace

Click on CE RCP or CE RLP (depends which license or licenses you have) and select Workspace > Create

Create New Workspace dialog will be opened.

The first option - New workspace path will be filled automatically based on your ArcGIS Pro project path.

Note. The path can be changed to another location, but we recommend keeping CE workspace and ArcGIS Pro project in the same location.

Define Geodata path. This is a catalog where your geodata files (elevation.tif, building_height.tif, ...) are saved.

Click Select Folder, and Create New Workspace dialog will be updated.

Note: If you encounter errors indicating that the files in the Geodata Path are incorrect or that geodata files are missing, please refer to the Prepare Geodata section and follow the guidelines for preparing the correct geodata files.

Additionally, select the Create Local Scene option if you want to generate a 3D scene alongside the 2D scene.

Press OK button to create a new Workspace.

If Also create Local Scene were enabled, then two maps will be created, one 2D called Map and second one - Map_3D.

Depending on your requirements, you can choose to work with either the 2D or 3D view, or use both simultaneously in the same window.
